Third generation of family appointed to building specialist’s board
A new generation of the family that bears the company’s name is now represented on the board of pig building specialists AM Warkup.
Jack Young, who is Mick Warkup’s grandson, becomes the third generation of the family to sit on the board.
He has spent three years with the company’s construction team and, latterly, two years in the estimating and buying departments.
He has also been involved with specialised research of ventilation and monitoring systems, which ties in well with his technical ability and interest.
AM Warkup said the appointment was ‘seen as an extremely positive move, which will galvanise the company’s future’.
