Flexible start and finish weights make our nurseries suitable for most farms. A wean to 40 Kgs nursery is the most common, but by no means exclusive.
Our finisher houses are designed to build on the excellent start created in the nursery. Optimum conditions allow each pig to reach its maximum potential growth rate unhindered.
Nurseries are fully slatted with Skov ventilation giving both an economic and high degree of environmental control. The same ventilation system controls both fully slatted and solid floor finisher buildings. Pig performance is practically identical in both floor types.
Climate change is now causing ever more volatile weather. Tough, highly insulated building shells and effective ventilation, coupled with high pressure cooling, makes our rearing buildings fit to face these future challenges.
