It was another companies failure to fulfill the requirements for a quarantine kennel complex that started Warkups in what has now grown into a very successful and expanding division of a company who had previously only supplied and built specialist piggeries.

It was quickly discovered that the specialist features of the housing for pigs - mainly robust construction, easily cleaned and disinfected surfaces and structural warmth were those mainly required for both dogs and cats.

The bonded panels routinely manufactured in Warkups own factory allow flat impervious, hardwearing surfaces to be combined with attractive and sympathetically coloured external surfaces.

The quality and high performance product which has placed us in 'a class of our own' in pig housing has done the same in domestic animal housing.

In addition to the building structures which we can supply and erect, we also produce our own metalwork and equipment,
